Noble Knights nknsupport is a single file application that can allow a technician to view and control a clients computer via a high speed Internet connection. Once connected a Noble Knights technician can configure settings, troubleshoot software problems, and much more.
Remote Assistance Benefits:
A Noble Knights technician can show a client what may be too confusing to understand from phone support.
A client may use nknsupport to show a technician the problems that he is experiencing which may result in a faster diagnoses.
It is more cost effective to use nknsupport when applicable because it is billed at our "in house" of $75/hr. vs. our "on site" rate of $85/hr. In addition clients outside the Medina area will benefit by saving the time and cost for a technician to drive to his location.
Remote Assistance is not Applicable for the Following:
Troubleshooting hardware.
Troubleshooting problems that require the clients computer to be rebooted several times.
Installing software from physical media.
Clients that do not have Internet or only dial up access.
Important!
Remote assistance is not a 24hr service. Remote assistance is only available during our normal business hours. Clients must contact a Noble Knights technician prior to downloading and running the nknsupport application. Remote assistance may require an appointment.
Billing Terms:
Remote Assistance is billed at our "in house" rate of $75/hr. A minimum of 1/2 hour will be billed for remote support and billed in 15 minute increments after the first 1/2 hour.
