Cats - Our Family Companions

Our family has four feline companions, Lucky, Isis, Shadow and Minnie. All have have distinctive personalities, traits and preferrences. Lucky adopted us on June 28, 1994 in Circleville, Ohio. Isis adopted us on July 1, 1997 on State Route 3 in Ohio. In August 1998 Minnie and Shadow adopted us through the SPCA.

Wicca, A Way Of Life

Wicca is not just a religion, but a way of life, which promotes respect for everybody, including the animals and plants we share this planet with. Down through history religion has been used to justify killing other people. For example when Pope Innocent declared the Inquistion which lasted until a few years after the Witch trials in Salem Mass. did he realize millions of people would be put to death? Did he care? In my humble opinion he did not care, and therefore did not consider the consequences of his actions. Recent history has given us such notable people as Adolf Hitler, who killed millions of Jews, because they were Jewish. And today blood is still shed in places like the middle east because one group believes their religion is better and the only way. What will it take to end the hatred, bigotry and killing? I join with all Pagans, Wiccans and Witches when I say 'Never Again, The Burning Times' .

Wendy Rule is an artist from Australia. Wendy has a style all her own, with a very beautiful voice. Her voice drifts through the air like a leaf on the wind. While she can belt out the songs like a forceful wind on a spring day, when I hear her music I taken away with the theme of the song and brought back to reality when the song is over.

Wendy is one Australias Witches who have went public in an effort to educate people about us. Her musical themes are about Life, Death and Witchcraft. Wendys music can be ordered on the internet from Pagan Presence, Inc.. Wendy Rule would be worth traveling to Australia to see in concert. Plus I think it would be a real treat to meet her.

Screen Maker For Quick Basic

I have been writting programs for a long time. I think that anyone who wants to can learn how to do it, all they have to do is put their mind to it. One of the most tedious tasks a programmer has is formatting the screen. Well a friend of mine had written a Screen Maker which was limited and he agreed that it could be improved upon and with that we set out to make it better. We called it the Screen Maker. Try it out and make designing your user input screens easier and faster.

Printer Data Base for Programmers

Another task non-Windows programmers face is that of how to write code for printers. Printers use specific control codes for printing things underlined, bold, etc. I wrote a Programmers Printer Data Base to make this an effortless job. This shareware version has over a hundred different printers listed in it.

Hobbies

Counted Cross Stitch

My wife likes doing counted cross stitch in her spare time. Once in while she is asked to do a counted cross stitch picture for friends and co-workers. She finds cross stitching to be a relaxing past time and is very talented. In fact the back of her pictures are as neat as front of the picture. She has won several ribbons in the County Fair. Science Fiction and Fantasy

I have always enjoyed reading science fiction and fantasy stories and books. As a child I enjoyed watching such television shows as Star Trek, Lost In Space, Land of the Giants, The Time Tunnel, Invaders, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, The Star Lost, U.F.O., Dark Shadows, The Wild Wild West...well you get the idea. I still enjoy Star Trek, including the newer versions of it like Deep Space Nine.

My Science Fiction and Fantasy Stories

I like to write science fiction and fantasy stories plus poetry. I became interested in writing in High School. I can remember how my teachers inspired me to continue writing. I have had some articles published in some professional banking magazines plus I wrote the operating manuals for two mortgage companies. Bats have long been feared by people. Perhaps it is because they are nocturnal creatures. However did you know a bats diet consists of either pollen or insects (mosquitos), with the exception of vampire bats which live only in South America. Do you like rum? Without the bats there would be no rum, because bats are the only creature which pollenate the plants rum is made from.
